Plenary speakers: Péter Medgyes - Nik Peachey - Sally Farley - David A. Hill Plenary speakers' introduction and abstracts Preliminary Programme
IATEFL Hungary is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. We all recognise the dramatic changes that have happened in almost every segment of society during these decades. What once seemed rare and unusual, went unnoticed or did not even exist are today everyday realities. How are these changes being realised in our classrooms? We invite you to discuss with us your strategies on how to handle new normalities.
Don't miss your chance to attend the conference at a reduced rate! Early bird applications close on 30 June! Register now!
Mentor Course - Updated!
Location is finalised: IBS Budapest | Downloadable lesson plan template
Looking for a career development opportunity? Then take a closer look at our mentor training course starting in September 2010. The new teacher education system prescribes a whole-semester teacher practicum as well as an induction period for new teachers, both requiring the expert support of trained school-based mentors. The 120-hour mentor training course we are offering was developed by teacher trainers at ELTE. Interested? Submit the application form below, together with an English CV, a motivation letter in English and a detailed plan of a lesson recently taught, no later than 15 June 2010. Be prepared for a short interview in English, to be held in June. We also ask you to pay a 10% deposit (HUF 15,000), which is returned if your application is not accepted.
